On Monday, Nov. 9th the Reclamation District will begin work from just past Sandy Beach all the way down to the Zucchini shed. Work hours will be from 6:00am - 5:00pm. This portion of the levee repair will take roughly a month to complete, weather permitting.
You may be able to drive down and park on the levee road between the hours of 5:00pm - 6:00am only. All vehicles must be off the levee road by 6:00am or they will be towed.
We have been told that you may also walk down the levee road on the water side of the parking curbs during the day if needed. Water and power should remain on during this project. We may have to close down the shed bathrooms for one week, in which case, you will have access to the bathrooms within the campground and next to the Ice Cream Shop.
Trucks will be entering Tower Park through the front entrance and leaving out the levee road by Zucchini shed. Please expect the traffic to be heavy within the park during the hours of 6:00am-5:00pm.
